Child Escort Services

 Family Ties offers; ‘An Escort Service’, this service maybe required to sit in a vehicle with children being transported, normally to and from school. 

Escorts are responsible for the supervision and care of children whilst they are in the vehicle and until they can hand them over to a responsible person. Our Escorts will travel in the back of the vehicle with the children, and will never leave them alone. 

Our staff members have completed safeguarding training and hold an enhanced DBS, along with training on how to deal with a child’s disclosure of abuse.  

As we recognise in an Escort setting a Child may spend considerable amounts of time with a member of staff and feel that they are able to disclose concerns around abuse.
